I would like to thank you Joseph for single handedly keeping this site alive as far as posts go. I still look in here every day and I plan to follow your example and post articles of interest to my locality.

Thanks for the comment. Where possible, I attempt to fit the postings into the wider context of WW2, similar to the "People's War" site. Hopefully this keeps a wider interest for people with different interests.

Earlier on, when I was researching WW2 for my university studies they expected us to take this approach. So I really just carried on in this way since. The main difference is that I am now writing mainly in English rather than French!

Hopefully, more people will contribute as it is a good site. We can get a lot of good advice and encouragement from those of the WW2 generation who started off this site!
