Pilot Officer Alexander Robert Graham, RAF, was the son of Mungo Forbes Graham and Jane Hall Graham of Portisnscale, near Keswick, Cumberland. He died on 3 October 1947 and is buried in Crosthwaite (St Kentigern) Churchyard, Keswick.

However, Pilot Officer Alexander R. Graham is not commemorated on the WW2 memorial of the parish located inside the church.

Killed when his Spitfire (TE406) crashed into the side of Brent Moor (Dartmoor)because of low cloud. The Spitfire belonged to 203 Advanced Flying School.
